Lyonnaise Salad

Discover the classic french salad ! Today is a special recipe in collaboration with the magazine Il était une fois dans l’Ouest. Since I was little, I always saw people in restaurants in France, getting this beautiful salad. So, I decided to try it myself and it turned out pretty okay ! Here are the steps, bon appétit !

Ingredients
  1. 1 salad
  2. 4 eggs
  3. 150 g smoked bacon
  4. 1 bag of croutons
  5. half tablespoon mustard
  6. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  7. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  8. 10 cl white vinegar
Instructions
  1. Wash and cut the lettuce.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. When hot, add bacon and cook slowly until crisp (7 minutes).
  3. Make 4 poached eggs
  4. Boil 1 liter of water in saucepan.
  5. When boiling, add 10 cl of white vinegar.
  6. Crack 1 egg into a ramekin. Using a slotted spoon, swirl water and slide the eggs into the water.
  7. Cook 2 minutes. Remove the egg from water and drain with absorbent kitchen paper.
  8. Repeat these steps for each eggs.
  9. Add the dressing.
  10. Season the salad with a vinaigrette, salt and pepper.
