Transform your old clutch to a new one following these steps.
What you need :
Cut thin leather pieces to create fringes.
Sew fringes to the old clutch using a needle and thread.
Repeat this step until you have enough fringes. Do the same on the other side of the clutch.
Create a leather tassel :
– cut a rectangle leather piece as explained below (1)
– draw a white line with chalk on the reverse side of the rectangle (2)
– cut fringes (don’t go over the white line) (3)
Then follow the instructions on this image :
To finish, attach your tassel to the bag using a leather thread.
You can add an eyelet to fully customize your clutch.
